What is Acne?
Acne is the occurrence of infected or inflamed sebaceous glands in the skin. In particular, a condition characterized by red pimples, prevalent chiefly among teenagers, but not limited to any age group.
Acne is prevalent in teenagers as it correlates with hormonal changes. Hormonal changes happen through puberty but are also found during a woman’s menstrual cycle, pregnancy and other skin irritants such as the environment and skin care products.

Micro needling with PRP is a cosmetic treatment that stimulates collagen production by rolling fine needles over the skin and applying platelets, which are one of the components of blood.
